How to add customer reviews to my email signature
Driving customers to see your reputation
We've had brokers asking us if they can link to their Advisr Profiles, and to their Customer Reviews from their email signatures. Yes, of course, you can. To help those that want to do just that below are some more details and insights around how to include a link to your customer reviews on Advisr.
What is my email signature?
Your email signature is a predefined signature block at the end of your emails that often includes your name, role, company and contact information. Your email signature can be in HTML (code and imagery) or in plain text.
Who can update my email signature?
Your email signatures can be set up either within the email software that you use, such as outlook, or can be done company-wide to maintain consistency.
To add or change an email signature in Microsoft Outlook you need to:
- Click File > Options > Mail > Signatures.
- Click the signature you want to edit, and then make your changes in the Edit signature box.
- When you're done, select Save > OK
To add or change an email signature in Gmail you need to:
- Open Gmail.
- In the top right, click Settings. See all settings.
- In the "Signature" section, add your signature text in the box.
- If you want, you can format your message by adding an image or changing the text style.
- At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes
How do I link to my Advisr Profile?
Linking to your Advisr profile and to your customer reviews shows customers that you are accountable for your performance to them.
To link to your reviews try using the following options.
Text link:
"See my customer reviews on Advisr" or "See how other customers rate working with me" or "I value your feedback - Rate my service here"
Image:
You can incorporate the Advisr Logo in your email signatures and create your own design own. To use one of these images, simply right click on the image and save a copy of it to use when editing your email signature.

How can I include the latest review?
When you get a new review on Advisr you become part of the process.
You're notified by email once the Advisr system has verified that the customer review is valid and appropriate. With the Advisr API, you can include the latest reviews you have received displayed on your website and even in your email signatures. This might be a bit techie, but reach out and we can assist with customisation and implementation.
