What are the Advisr Insurance Broker Awards?

Businesses are increasingly heading online for all their business needs, including finding an insurance broker. The Advisr Awards celebrate those insurance brokers and insurance brokerages who are showing the industry how to build trust online.

Practically they:

  • share insightful content and original thought leadership
  • build customer reviews and testimonials online, and
  • maintain a professional and active profile on Advisr, LinkedIn and elsewhere online.

The awards recognise insurance brokers and insurance brokerages in 10 categories. In each category, the winners are those who are committed to educating businesses, servicing customers, building trust and providing help to the business community through online channels.

Insurance Broker Award Categories

This broker is selected from the State Winners of the Top Insurance Broker Award. The insurance broker who most contributes to customer-centric online content. This may include unique thought leadership, helpful social media conversations and content, building and activating customer reviews and having a professional online profile.

Awarded to the Insurance Broker in each state who most contributes to customer-centric online content. This may include unique thought leadership, helpful social media conversations and content, building and activating customer reviews and having a professional online profile.

Awarded to the specialist Insurance Broker who goes above and beyond in educating customers about a specific area of insurance in which they specialise (eg. Cyber Insurance, Strata Insurance, Insurance for Agribusiness). This may include unique thought leadership around their specialisation, helpful social media conversations and content, building and activating customer reviews and having a professional online profile.

Awarded to the insurance broker who displays the greatest commitment to creating consistent, quality, original and helpful content for customers. This broker shares their own content, whether short form, long form, hosting webinars, speaking on panels, or creating video, graphical or audio content.

Awarded to the Authorised Representative Network who most clearly embodies a commitment to helping their brokers educate their clients, listen to customers, build trust and provide help to the business community, primarily through online activities.

Awarded to the Insurance Brokerage of under 20 staff that most contributes to customer-centric online content. This may include unique thought leadership, helpful social media conversations and content, building and activating customer reviews and having a consistent professional online profile across the brokerage. The winner will be committed to assisting its brokers to grow their online presence.

Awarded to the Insurance Brokerage of over 20 staff that most contributes to customer-centric online content. This may include unique thought leadership, helpful social media conversations and content, building and activating customer reviews and having a consistent professional online profile across the brokerage. The winner will be committed to assisting its brokers to grow their online presence.

Awarded to the Insurance Broker with the most votes as shown in the leaderboard. 1 vote allowed by each voter on a profile. Voters allowed to vote for more than 1 profile. Voters must be located within Australia.

Awarded to the insurance broker or AR who is taking their first steps with content marketing and social media and going full steam ahead. Including use of Advisr’s suite of social media sharing tools and content marketing tools.
