I commenced my career in the field of Insurance as an Assistant Account Executive at Capital Insurance Brokers in late 2007. Coming to the insurance field quite by accident, I have come to enjoy the interaction that comes with assisting both customers and insurance vendors to meet their insurance needs.
As a young Assistant I was acutely unaware of the vital role the insurance sector plays in the local communities and its effect on businesses and people. Under the keen eye of one of the companies longest serving Account Executives and acting as my mentor, I was able to learn and refine my skills in both domestic and commercial related Insurance products.
As a result of completing three successful years of administration support services I was afforded the opportunity to apply my skills in the role of an Account Executive. I then serviced a wide and growing insurance portfolio ranging from Domestic, Commercial and Professional Risk clientele.
After making my way to the ‘big city' of Melbourne and a successful year and half within Marsh's Scheme's and Affinity division, I have been provided an opportunity to apply my skills and knowledge within a suburban brokerage - Cowden (VIC) Ltd. I look forward to this new role and the opportunity to further develop my skills and career in this challenging and rewarding field.
