At age 27, Peter started Midwest Insurance Brokers in Geraldton.
At 34 Peter moved back to Perth with his young family to start up Gibbs Slade. After many successful years in the Western Australian market, Gibbs Slade merged with Jardines to become Jardine Gibbs Slade.
After ten years Jardine Gibbs Slade become fully acquired by Jardine Lloyd Thompson, at that stage Peter moved on from Jardines' to become the Regional Manager of Western Australia & South Australia operations at OAMPS.
In 2006 Peter left the Internationals to once again go out on his own, establishing Gibbscorp.
Peter has extensive experience and involvement in the Australian business and Not for Profit sectors.
