Craig Rush has grown up in the country town of Dalby QLD. A fanatical rugby league fan and tragic Canberra Raiders supporter, he started his career in hospitality at the Dalby Leagues Club. In 2011, an opportunity arose to work full-time as an Insurance Broker. With the help of a great mentor, Craig quickly progressed from personal lines to commercial account handler, to account executive. After 11 years of broking, Craig felt it was time to start his own business venture, City Country Insurance Brokers.
Craig wants to provide a more personalised local experience for his clients. He is passionate about being a part of the community and believes that building longstanding trusted relationships is what insurance broking is all about. He also wants to ensure that every client is given the time needed to ensure that they really understand what risks they face and tailor a package to suit their individual needs and budget requirements.
Claims management is also a key focus and Craig believes that it often gets sidelines. "As a broker, I think we can learn so much from managing our own claims. After 10 years of insurance broking, I still learn something new every week and strive to do so."
