2019 has been a massive year for Advisr. We wanted to stop, reflect on what has occurred and share a brief update with you.
Thousands and thousands of people have come to Advisr to find and connect with an insurance broker they can trust. In 2019, we've had hundreds of new brokers create profiles for themselves on Advisr. In addition, our support team has added loads of entire brokerages and networks onto the platform. Along the way, we've improved Advisr and rolled out new features and functionality.

New features released on Advisr in 2019

We created a hierarchy that enables a broker or AR to be listed within their brokerages and within their various networks and associations. Whilst changes like this may seem easy, there was a bit of complexity as we evolved the underlying data models within the Advisr systems. We will do more on this in 2020 to make managing your brokerage profile even easier.
New Brokerage pages with an updated look and feel‚ is your Brokerage up to date?
New brokerage pages were developed to highlight brokers that are based within the individual brokerage. This enables people to quickly and easily find contact details about your brokerage and to see the faces of the brokers that work within it. Hundreds of brokerages have optimised their brokerage profile to ensure customers can find and connect with them via Advisr.
The Advisr Network & Association pages were developed so that customers could see if a broker or brokerage was part of a wider network or association. In addition, customers now have one place to find all the brokers and brokerages that are part of that particular network.
Find an insurance broker by location pages:
With over 150+ dedicated location pages on Advisr, people can find a broker near them, wherever that might be! Helping people looking for an insurance broker in Sydney, insurance brokers in Dandenong, insurance brokers in Gold Coast and many many more. Oh, and individual brokers are matched to locations, so this features on a brokers profile page as well.
We created over 150 Insurance by Industry pages such as management consulting insurance, strata and body corporate insurance, child care insurance and many many more. Insurance Brokers can select the industries where they focus and have expertise, and customers in those industries use Advisr to find all they need to know about their insurance needs.
Advisr has created an API to enable your website to be powered by and with your data from Advisr. Your team page is one place to start, so that when new people join your brokerage or network, your team page on your website (if it is built on the Advisr API) will add your new team members automatically. Launched The Advisr Insurance Broker Awards We celebrated all that is great about Insurance Broking with the Advisr Insurance Broker Awards: The public scoured the industry to look for those insurance brokers who truly stand out in regards to thought leadership, professionalism and trustworthiness. The overall inaugural winner is Lisa Carter, from Clear Insurance. Congratulations to the other winners and finalists. The Advisr Insurance Broker Awards will be back bigger and better in 2020.
