Wide Bay Insurance Broking (WBIB) is based on the Fraser Coast (Maryborough) and is a long established business.

About the role
A full time position exists for an insurance broker with flexible, traditional working conditions and benefits. Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
· Processing of general insurance policies
· Liaising and building rapport with clients
· Claim lodgment and follow ups until settlement
· Policy retention and sourcing of new business
· Renewing and remarketing of policies

Criteria
· Tier 2 in insurance broking is ESSENTIAL. Further studies to complete Tier 1 must be completed by the successful applicant if not already held.
· Ability to work full time hours with occasional need for additional hours
· Computer literacy and basic knowledge of Microsoft office applications
· Professional appearance and presentation
· Can work under pressure in a busy environment and manage your work schedule
· Experience with WinBEAT preferred
