As part of one of Australia's fastest growing insurance brokerages, an opportunity exists for an experienced insurance broker to join the VIM Cover team ideally in our Sunshine Coast office, or working from home in another South East Queensland location.

On a daily basis, you will be tasked with managing a portfolio of clients including the handling of new business enquiries, placing risks with insurers, managing renewals, servicing client’s enquiries and administrating policy documentation. Naturally you will be supported by an administrative assistant to ensure you are focusing on what matters most, our customers. 

To be successful in securing this fantastic opportunity the ideal candidate will be a team player, be highly organised, have an exceptional eye for detail and opportunity, along with having a high level of customer service skills.

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Experienced broker with at least 2 + years industry experience;
  • Someone looking to take the next step in their career;
  • Experience in servicing Retail, Corporate and SME clients;
  • Sound computer skills, excellent communication skills, teamwork and strong documentation skills;
  • Ability to work unsupervised within a team environment;
  • Career focused, responsible, self motivated and enthusiastic;
  • Tier 1 or 2, or diploma qualification in insurance broking;
  • Experience in a similar Broker / Account Management position.
  • General insurance broking knowledge and experience.
