As we continue to grow our business, we are looking for an Assistant Account Executive to join us, this time at our McLardy McShane Shepparton branch.

McLardy McShane Insurance Brokers are an award-winning Insurance Broking business forming part of the wider McLardy McShane Group.

You will work closely with current staff, providing general broking and administrative support as required.

Working in Insurance Broking requires great attention to detail, accuracy, and well-rounded communication skills. Our newest team member will have the right attitude and motivations to further develop their skills and knowledge over time. 

About the role:
  • Shared Reception / telephone duties as required.
  • Creation and maintenance of client files as directed.
  • General office administration – data entry/ email correspondence / debtor management 
  • Assisting staff as and when required for general duties.
  • Processing of new business, renewals, and policy maintenance to ensure provision of excellent service to clients and the highest quality input to insurers. This includes:
    • Providing and following up on quotations
    • Processing new business
    • Processing endorsements/amendments
    • Updating of Claims Status Reports
    • Attending to enquiries

This role will suit someone who is a self-starter and is highly client service focused. Suitable people will have:
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task. 
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional customer service and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft programs including Outlook, Excel & Word.
  • Be a strong supportive team player.

Previous experience in the insurance industry is preferred, but not essential.
