We currently have an opportunity for a Broker Assistant / Junior Broker to join our vibrant team. Based in Balcatta, with an immediate start, this position is ideal for someone with limited experience looking to hone their skills in an established brokerage, learning the ropes while working closely with the Account Managers and Managing Director.
You will provide Broker support including:
- All aspects of processing including new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations
- Liaising with insurers, underwriters and a varied book of clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and suppliers
- Answering the phone – gathering basic risk information for new business enquiries
- Assisting with new business & renewal quotes
- Assisting in Marketing of key Niche areas and general business development
- Happy to support Account Managers with a view to looking after your own clients eventually.
As the successful applicant you will:
- Have industry experience gained in a similar role (ideally min 12 months experience)
- Have a positive outlook and strong team mentality
- Be a self-starter and able to work autonomously
- Bring a proven track record of exceptional customer service
- Have a commitment to company policies, vision and values
- A strong desire to develop your career and maintain industry knowledge
- Ideally Tier 1 qualified (not essential)
