We are looking for a client and team focussed Account Executive to join our NSW SME team. This role can be based in our Newcastle or Forest Lodge office, with the option of two days a week remote working under our hybrid working model.

About the role

  • Reporting to the SME Team Leader and supported by a team Assistant Account Executive, you will manage an allocated portfolio of SME building and construction clients, including 
  • Renewals,
  • Endorsements,
  • Claims management,
  • Relationship development (clients, insurers, colleagues and stakeholders)
  • Account growth and new business (warm / inbound leads).
  • Attending industry events.
 
About you

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and time management skills,
  • Tier 1 (Broking) compliance,
  • Enthusiastic and focussed on delivering outstanding service to clients,
  • Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn,
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of insurance broking (essential) and construction insurance (a bonus!).
