The role focuses on supporting our principal to deliver high-value, personalised broking services to a specific, national target market.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing and communicating appropriate risk transfer solutions.
- Client service, retention and revenue growth targets.
- Developing new business opportunities through the existing client base, acquisition pipeline, and actively seeking new clients.
- Managing administrative responsibilities through accurate, efficient and timely production of all policy and related documentation, including filing of all documents.
- Analysing claims data, produce reports, and assist with claims management and negotiations.
- Providing a high level of client service, responding to day-to-day client queries and keeping clients informed of emerging trends and new products.
- Providing mentoring and coaching to more junior staff members.
- Be a confident, service focused broker, with strong commercial account management experience, ideally working with complex corporate clients.
- Have a strong technical understanding of a broad range of Insurance Products and risk solutions.
- Be sales orientated with the ability to build a long-term pipeline to support new business growth.
- Be a team player who naturally maintains solid working relations with colleagues, clients and broader industry market stakeholders, as well as the ability to work autonomously.
- Have highly developed communication and negotiation skills complemented by a driven, passionate and professional disposition.
- Have proven ability to write technical reports, with a strong attention to detail, and be able to advise clients of technical risk issues
- Be Tier 1 qualified
