Grace Insurance is currently looking for a broker based in Joondalup.

About You
We have a broking position available, and we are looking for candidates with the following attributes.

Education Requirements 
  • Tier 1 and all relevant qualifications in insurance
  • Diploma in Insurance Broking (preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years insurance experience in a Broking role essential.

The Role
You will be required to provide effective, efficient, compliant processing of all client business within the team. Portfolio of clients to manage will be provided. Key function would be to maintain and naturally grow the portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure customer service is provided at a very high level.  Specifically providing timely service of client requests and ensuring that all administration tasks are completed in an accurate manner.  Overall ensuring each interaction with clients is a positive experience.
  • Lodge and manage claims from beginning to end.
  • Maintain claim files and ensure that the required level of service is of the highest standard.
  • Maintain close relationships with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders
  • Negotiate with Insurers to achieve the best outcomes for client’s insurance program and claims.
  • Writing new business from own leads as well as from referrals provided.

Processing
  • Processing and document issuance of new business, renewals, cancellations, and endorsements ensuring all interactions are performed in an efficient & effective manner adhering to the required processes for each transaction types.
  • Respond to enquiries/requests from clients within agreed service standards.
