We are seeking an extremely motivated broker, looking to develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive environment to join our talented team. The position available is based primarily in our Toowoomba office, however the right candidate may be considered from the Brisbane / Sunshine Coast Area.

Our specialist areas include Heavy Transport, Manufacturing, Motor Trade, Retail, Engineering, Mining, Management Liability, and large Farm clients.

We are seeking an extremely motivated broker, looking to develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive environment to join our talented team.  The position available is based primarily in our Toowoomba office, however the right candidate may be considered from the Brisbane / Sunshine Coast Area.

You will be required to have no less than 2 years Commercial Broking and/or underwriting experience.  Tier 1 General Insurance Broking qualifications are required at a minimum however having your Diploma will be viewsed favourably.  Salary and conditions of the role are negotiable for the right applicant.

 

The role will encompass all the normal aspects of a General Insurance Broker, including but not limited to: 

  • Help service a portfolio of insurance clients.
  • Be competent in quoting all Commercial and Domestic insurance including upselling and cross selling where required.
  • Processing of Renewals and New Business
  • Claims handling/management
  • Debtors handling
  • Impeccable telephone manner
  • Possess excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Possess excellent computer skills, (particularly Excel)
  • Knowledge of Winbeat, Sunrise, SCTP Broker Portal, organiseIt would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Be able to effectively prioritise your workload and have excellent time management skills
