About you 
• Trained and experienced in General Insurance Claims management with experience in understanding insurance law and regulatory commitments 
• Adept at working in a team supporting a niche portfolio of clients 
• Customer-focused with the ability to stay clear and level-headed no matter the reason for their claim. Providing them with a partner and advocate that will help them navigate the claims process, and find ways to meet their emerging needs in innovative ways 
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to advocate on behalf of the customer and business by applying practices and principles, while ensuring written and verbal communication is well documented 
• Well organised and able to manage multiple communication streams with competing priorities 
• Capable of building strong stakeholder relationships with industry partners and service providers to ensure the best outcome for our clients 
• Experience in supporting clients in the construction, mining, transport, trades and engineering industries with an understanding of their specific needs and challenges in risk management and profit growth 
• Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office, broking systems, and business insurance systems 
 
About the role 
• Claims Management: Assisting with all aspects of claims from lodgement to completion. Including follow-ups, administration, processing and insurer liaison, ensuring an efficient service to customers whilst adhering to legal principles and insurance practices 
• Customer support: Providing exceptional service while attending to customers’ claims, engaging necessary stakeholders to ensure the customer receives all additional services and support necessary 
• Client Advocacy: Represent our clients’ interests in negotiating satisfactory settlements with insurance companies and when managing service providers
