About the Role  

We are seeking a talented candidate who desires a career in insurance broking. We are committed to training and mentoring the future advisers of the insurance broking industry.

The role of Assistant Account Executive is to assist the Clear Insurance team in providing reliable administrative support to the Practice Manager and Director.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Practice Manager and Director with system processing, preparation of documents and file management for:

  • New accounts
  • Renewals of existing accounts
  • Provision of quotations
  • Claims management
  • Pre-Renewal Reports and document preparation
  • Policy documentation /File Audits (checking data integrity)
  • Reports generation and distribution.
  • Assist in the preparation of end of month requirements
  • Answer incoming calls in a polite and professional manner
  • Liaising with clients and insurers in the administration and handling of claims
  • Assisting the Practice Manager and Director with the execution of marketing initiatives
  • Raising of quotes on sunrise and insurer quote platforms
  • Monitoring compliance and adherence to policies and procedures

We are looking at this role as a full-time opportunity, however we will happily consider casual or part-time options for the perfect candidate. The role will be based in our office at Ascot.

About You

In addition to being able to perform the responsibilities above, you will possess the following skills, experience and characteristics:

  • Tier 2 ASIC RG146 preferred
  • Ability to work through issues / problems and find solutions
  • Understanding of Insurance environment and legislation
  • Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand FSRA Legislation
  • At least 3 years of experience in the insurance industry will be highly regarded
  • Outstanding attention to detail, and a healthy obsession with doing things the right way
  • The ability to manage your time, prioritise and work to deadlines
  • A high level of computer literacy and technological nous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using Sunrise and various Insurer quote platforms
  • Ability to work flexibly, effectively, collaboratively and enthusiastically within a team environment and to take direction from senior staff
  • Ability to operate within a compliance and administrative framework
  • Enthusiasm to grow as an insurance professional in a learning-focused workplace
  • Strong commitment to your own ongoing personal and professional development
