General Insurance Broker / Account Executive

About You
You must be able to display experience in successfully managing a portfolio of clients from end to end, providing focused insurance solutions. The applicant must also possess:

  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry contacts
  • Professional and confident communication and sales skills
  • Business skills, including basic knowledge of the insurance industry
  • Willingness to partake in professional development

Duties & Responsibilities
The successful person will be responsible for processing and servicing existing commercial and domestic general insurance renewals and new business.  You will be expected to deliver excellent customer service with efficient follow up to ensure high customer experience and retention.  You will be self-motivated and driven with a strong sales focus and the will to be part of an exciting growing business. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to take part in continued training and will enjoy being an active part of our team. 

Education
Tier 1 or Tier 2 Insurance Broking Compliance accreditation is preferred, however not essential for the right candidate. The successful applicant must also be proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Experience
Previous Insurance Broking experience is preferable for this role. A broad knowledge of Insurance Broking systems is also preferred.

Remuneration & Future Outlook
The opportunity exists to step into a successful existing business model with the regular generation of new business and high potential growth.

A long term outlook is preferred to enable the successful candidate to feel part of building business success.

The remuneration package ($50,000 - $75,000) will be discussed with individual candidates and will vary depending on experience.
