An exciting opportunity currently exists for a proactive, organised Internal Broker, Broker Assistant (or Trainee Broker Assistant) to join our dynamic team in Hobart.

The successful applicant will be able to deliver friendly & efficient customer service to our existing book of clients. Attention to detail is essential and you must possess excellent communication and computer literacy skills. Experience in the insurance industry (or a similar discipline) is preferable but not mandatory.

Ausure is one of Australia’s largest providers of insurance broking services and is not owned by a bank or insurance company. With offices right across the country, our team aims to provide outstanding service, quality advice and a range of insurance products to its valued customers.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting your Senior Brokers
  • Assisting clients with enquiries
  • Liaising with underwriters
  • Processing renewals
  • Quoting new business
  • Placing cover through online platforms
  • Processing endorsement and cancellations
  • Assisting with claims as required

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Enthusiasm & the ability to learn quickly
  • Desirable (but not essential) experience in insurance broking
  • A strong work ethic
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including relationship management
  • A commitment to exceptional client service and quality advice
  • Attention to detail and professionalism
  • A friendly disposition and a commitment to being part of a team environment
  • Comfortable with computer-based systems

Salary Range is variable based on industry experience & qualifications plus access to our bonus scheme.

The bonus structure is unique in that it rewards a level of growth while mostly focusing on best practice broking standards that provide our clients professional service.
