Recent growth of the business has created a new opportunity for a proactive Senior Broker Assistant/ new Account Manager looking to take the next step in their career and take on their own portfolio in our South Brisbane office.

About the Role
This role is located in our South Brisbane office and would suit someone looking to take the next steps in their career. It involves but is not limited to:
- Servicing client enquiries
- Processing and managing new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations
- Placing risks with insurers
- Managing a portfolio
- All general administrative duties

About You
- Minimum 3 year's experience within the insurance broking industry;
- Driven to grow the portfolio with your Head of Portfolio and Account Manager;
- Develop and build relationships with clients and underwriters;
- Experience servicing business clients;
- Sound computer skills, confident communication skills, teamwork and strong documentation skills;
- Experience using a broking system and exposure to Insight will be highly regarded;
- The ability to work unsupervised within a team environment;
- Career focused, responsible, self motivated and enthusiastic;
- Minimum Tier 1 (Insurance Broking) qualification;
- Experienced using Microsoft Office.
- Experience using SCTP and Insight would be advantageous.
