QRM Claims Management is a leading independent provider of insurance and motor vehicle assessment services. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Claims Specialist in the heavy vehicle space to be based in North Sydney. Role Overview:

The Senior Motor Claims Consultant plays a pivotal role in our company's unique approach to motor claims management. They are entrusted with the responsibility of actively mitigating client losses while ensuring fair and efficient resolution of motor claims. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to witness the tangible impact of your efforts in reducing third-party claims and recovering costs for our clients.

Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:


  • and assess liability in motor insurance claims, exercising sound judgment and attention to detail.
  • and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, insurers, brokers, and internal departments, facilitating effective claim resolution.
  • accurate guidance and support to customers throughout the claims process, ensuring transparency and clarity.
  • claims files and documentation in adherence to company policies and procedures, maintaining organized and comprehensive records.
  • settlements and recoveries promptly and accurately, within established timelines.
  • regular updates to customers on the status of their claims, maintaining open communication channels.
  • claim settlements within designated authority limits, employing effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • client and broker meetings to discuss claim performance and address any concerns or inquiries.

Requirements:


  • of 2 years' experience in motor insurance claims handling, demonstrating proficiency in assessing and managing claims.
  • communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
