This is a unique position with a long established and respected Insurance Brokerage located in Burleigh Heads. This presents an opportunity for you to gain experience in the insurance industry.

The role presents the opportunity for the applicant to apply their prior Insurance knowledge to a range of tasks. You will be the sort of person who values and provides a great customer experience. 

Your role is to add as much value as you can to your clients. We have a full Broking Assistant team who can assist you with all your administration style tasks – this gives you an opportunity to be visiting your clients and providing exception service. The company also has a fully staffed claims team who manages our clients claims to ensure that claims are settled in a timely manner. 
 
An immediate start is available.
 
The ideal applicant will:
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years insurance broking industry experience
  • Hold a Tier 1 in Insurance Broking Compliance
  • Have experience with Mid-Market/Commercial clients, placing risks across a range of industries and product classes.
  • Have excellent communication skills, time management, and an aptitude for learning
 
Key Responsibilities of this role are:
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with insurers, business partners and clients.
  • Provide a high level of customer service.
  • Meeting targets as agreed in performance objectives.
  • Manage and service an approximate $500,000 (Fee & Income) existing portfolio of clients
  • Contribute to new business growth objectives by pursuing new business growth opportunities
  • Provide necessary claims assistance and service to ensure the client is satisfied with the handling of the claim
  • Maintain exceptional communication and teamwork with owners, managers, staff, clients and external partners.
