The successful candidate will develop, grow and maintain an existing portfolio of commercial and domestic clients as well as a pipeline of new business opportunities. The role includes a range of tasks including renewals, new business, endorsements, preparation of insurance documents and some claims management as a backup. The Account Executive must be able to work autonomously and also effectively with other staff members and support staff when required to help drive the growth of the business.
The role:
- To ensure that the current insurance and risk management needs of a portfolio of clients are fully met to the satisfaction of the clients.
- Prepare and implement new business quotes and policies and any amendments to existing policies.
- Assist clients with any enquiries.
- Liaise with underwriters to ensure that we are meeting our compliance standards.
- Any other administration tasks as required.
Criteria:
- Tier 1 accreditation is essential.
- Previous broking experience with SME clients is essential.
- Knowledge of the Winbeat processing system is essential.
- Knowledge of the OfficeTech Document Management & Task Management system would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Professional presentation and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive Attitude and a genuine team player with the ability to lead by example.
- The ability to go the extra mile for the benefit of our clients.
