Our Senior Account Executives are absolutely crucial to ensuring our clients receive the best service and advice possible and play a key role in the overall success of the business.

THE ROLE
  • Deliver a high-level client experience for existing clients and new business prospects
  • Manage and grow an existing book of SME and Corporate clients from a wide range of industries
  • Actively work with management to identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Provide technical advice, risk management solutions and expert claims advice (claims are largely managed by our Claims Relationship Manager)
  • Develop, deliver and maintain tailored insurance programs
  • Negotiate risk transfer/management solutions based on a client’s individual profile and requirements
  • Build and nurture productive, trusting and lasting relationships with insurers, referrers and other key business partners
  • Oversee general portfolio management with the assistance of our amazing Assistant Account Executives, Insurance Administration Team and Claims Relationship Manager
  • Overall management of client and portfolio profitability
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the business
  • Assist with mentoring and developing the skills of our Assistant Account Executives and Account Executives
 
ABOUT YOU
  • An expert in client relationship management and the provision of quality, tailored advice
  • A proactive and motivated self-starter who takes initiative, ownership, and accountability
  • A strong technical understanding of general insurance products, including Financial Lines
  • Flare for new business development
  • Ability to be flexible in a rapidly growing organisation
  • 5+ years’ experience in General Insurance Broking managing your own portfolio (previous experience with General Insurance Underwriting and Claims Management will also be considered for individuals with the right attributes)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail
  • A mentor to junior staff – you will play a key role in assisting with their development
  • Team mentality
  • Tier 1 in Insurance Broking Qualification is essential and pathways to completing your Diploma will be implemented
